Terms and Conditions

By joining my group English classes, you agree to these terms and conditions:

Class Recordings

All classes are recorded so that students who miss class are able to rewatch the class. This also gives you a chance to look over anything a second time.

Video links will be shared with the group via Telegram in our class group chat but they will not be public, so only you and your classmates will have access to the links.

You may not share the links with people you know, to protect the privacy of your classmates.

Class recordings will be deleted 14 days after uploading them.

Fees & Payment

Course Price & Onboarding Fee

The monthly fee for group classes is €129, which includes 2 hours hours of live online lessons every week in a group of no more than 8 students. A one-time sign-up fee of €29 is required upon registration to cover administrative setup, class placement, and a live level test on zoom with Issy. When joining, you will pay for the rest of the current month upfront.

Monthly Subscription - due 14th

All future monthly payments must be made by the 14th of the month before. For example, if you are joining classes in February, you must pay by 14th January; payment for March would then be due by 14th February. This system allows us to plan ahead and, if needed, find a replacement student in time. If you decide to leave the course, you must notify us by the 14th of the previous month. Cancellations after the 14th will not be eligible for a refund for the upcoming month, as your place has already been secured.

To simplify payments, students are enrolled on a monthly subscription, which can be cancelled at any time provided notice is given by the 14th. If a student leaves the course for more than 6 consecutive weeks and wishes to return, a new €29 sign-up fee will be applied to cover the reactivation and onboarding process.

Reservation Deposit

For students wishing to reserve their spot in class, for classes starting in October, a 39€ deposit will be charged, and will be deducted from your first payment in September.

Refunds

The €39 deposit is non-refundable, as it secures your spot in a limited group and covers planning and admin time. The onboarding fee, if applicable, is also non-refundable, as it covers the cost of placement, and personalised onboarding, online level tests etc.. If you decide not to join, we kindly ask that you notify me (Issy) at least 14 days before the course begins. However, no refunds will be issued for either fee under any circumstances.

Refunds for live classes will also not be issued, unless there is an exceptional circumstance, unless you have given your notice before the 14th of the previous month.

Homework

Homework is regularly given, and is optional. Homework must be handed in within 7 days to be corrected, so they cannot accumulate over the weeks. (Again, because there have been times when I've had 4 weeks of work to correct in 2 days🙈)

Homework must be sent via Telegram in a private message to Issy.

Holidays

The school year will run from Wed 1st October 2025 - Mon 29th June.

During the year, there will be certain days when we don't have class.

Christmas Holidays 2025-2026
- No classes from Tuesday 23rd December to Tuesday 6th January (inclusive)
  → Classes resume Wednesday 7th January,
Easter Holiday 2026
- No classes from Tuesday 31st March to Monday 6th April 2026 (inclusive)
End of the course - Monday 29th June

Other

Classes with less than 4 people will not be opened, but solutions will be offered to make sure everyone is happy in case this happens.

Cover Teacher

If for whatever reason Issy is not able to teach a class, a substitute teacher will be provided. This message is a reminder that Issy is not guaranteed to be the teacher for every single class. There might be an exception occasionally.

Discrimination

Any form of discrimination will not be tolerated in these classes. Our classes are a safe environment where you're allowed to be yourself, so long as you respect your teacher and classmates completely.
